Who are the Happy Hounds?
Hi, I’m Linda!
👈 this is my dog Hunter.
I started this company in 2018 to combine my two loves: outdoor activities and caring for dogs! I am passionate about dog health and wellbeing and have vast experience with an array of dog temperaments. I am fully insured, bonded and am pet first aid certified. Dogs are members of our families and their care is of the utmost importance to me. When I’m not busy walking through the forest, surrounded by a pack of dogs, you can find me camping, skating and running after my two kids and husband.
How can I help?
Dog – Group Walks
Let your pup burn off their extra energy with an hour long hike through the forest. They’ll get to run, play, sniff, chase birds.. oh and there may be some treats involved too!
Includes:
- 1 hour On or Off Leash forest walk
- Pick up and drop off
- Map/Activity Tracking
- Photo of your Happy Hound
- Activity Report of your Dog’s walk
- Socialization with other dog within pack and in the forest

Dog – semi/private walk
Let your pup tour the town.. or at least the neighbourhood. In these 25 or 45 minute leash walks through your neighbourhood we’ll burn off some energy while strutting our stuff.
Includes:
- 25 or 45 minute leashed walk
- Map/Activity Tracking
- Photos of you Happy Hound
- Activity Report of your Dog’s walk

Dog – Backyard Let out
Maybe your pup is feeling a bit sluggish? No worries, we can let them out in the backyard instead of going for a full walk. That way they can do their business and get back to the real business: sleeping and barking out the window!
Includes:
- 15 minute relief break in the backyard or within the area
- Photo of your Happy Hound
- Activity Report of your Dog’s visit

Puppy – House visit
Sometimes you just can’t hold it. Which is why we provide two 15 minute visits throughout the day for puppies.
Includes:
- Photo of your Happy Puppy
- Activity Report of our Play time/Visit

Cats – house visit
The cat’s can’t let the dogs get all the attention!
Includes:
- 30 minute Visit in your home
- Refresh water and feed if needed
- Cuddle/Play time
- Clean litter box
- Bring in newspaper, packages
- Put out garbage, recycling, green bin as needed
- Will water plants as directed
- Alternate lights and blinds

Chicken Visit
Did you think we only helped care for furry friends? No way, the feathered folks need some loving too!
Includes:
- Refresh water and food
- Let out of coop
- Collect eggs

Why Us?
Your pets are your family. When you’re not there, you want someone who loves them as much as you do to look after them. That’s us!
We don’t have clients at Happy Hounds Dog Walking. We have family. All the pets we look after are part of the Happy Hounds Dog Walking family and they are treated like it. We do this, because we love animals. All shapes, sizes, and temperments.
When you entrust us with the care of your pet, you know that they are with someone who loves them and treats them just like you would in your house (including occassionally giving a few too many treats 😄)
